If your hen is balding or injured specifically at the area on her back, then this chicken saddle may protect her from the rooster’s spurs and at the same time give her a chance to heal and regrow her feathers.
Materials:
- 100% premium cotton for maximum comfort and durability.
- Detachable straps with high quality metal snaps for easy application. Straps are covered in fabric to prevent the elastic from rubbing on the skin of the hen’s wing nooks.
Options & chicken breed size guidelines:
- Medium – for standard chicken breeds such as the Easter Eggers, Rhode Island Red, and Olive Eggers, to name a few.
- Large – for Black Copper Marans and Orpingtons.
The sizes mentioned above serve only as a guideline. Each hen’s body frame is different so be sure to measure your hen first before ordering to ensure that the saddle fits perfectly on her body.
How to measure: Measure from the bottom of her neck to its oil gland. The dimension you have is the size to order.
Additional Option (if available): Wing guard for extra protection if there are bald spots on your hen’s wings.
